Here you will find lots of information about Year 6 and what we are busy doing in the classroom.

Our P.E. days are: Monday and Friday, so could your child please come into school in their PE kit that day; having removed any jewellery.

We visited the Beatles Story Museum in Liverpool as part of our must through the ages topic. We learnt a lot about the Beatles and the impact they had on other music throughout time as well as their legacy. 

Year 6 children enjoyed reading with the younger children today. Children had some time out of class to support readers across the school with their reading. In the afternoon, we enjoyed some of our own reading time with a biscuit and juice. 

This week children at Ingestre Hall took part in activities relating to climate change. Activities included: painting a scene with wind turbines, coming up with a song or rap and some drama relating to climate change. The children worked in their groups on the project for the week. They then were able to showcase this to each other. 

Children back at school also took part in a range of climate change activities. Children completed a lego project, dances, art activity and a research project.
